14) Rope Braid - Kordelzopf

I found the rope braid a little harder to learn than the basic three strand braid. When people notice my braid is done with only two strands they frequently start to wonder why it doesn't unravel itself. The trick is easy:
- separate your hair into two sections
- twist both sections in the same direction
- cross both sections over one another in the opposite direction
- repeat until the end of your hair and tie it off
If it unravels, you crossed the sections in the wrong direction.

Der Kordelzopf ist ein wenig schwieriger zu lernen als der einfache geflochtene Zopf mit 3 Straengen. Leute, die bemerken, dass mein Zopf nur mit 2 Straengen geflochten ist, wundern sich haeufig, warum sich das ganze nicht aufloest. Der Trick ist ganz einfach:
- Haare in 2 Straenge aufteilen
- beide Straenge in die gleiche Richtung in sich drehen
- die Straenge in die entgegengesetzte Richtung vertauschen
- und so weiter bis zum Ende der Haare, anschliessend Zopfgummi drum.
Loest sich das ganze dann auf, wurde in die falsche Richtung vertauscht.
